Chiles Offshore Rig Information Systems
CORIS is a technology project completed for Chiles Offshore as a subcontractor to Insource Technology in Houston, Texas. Work environments consisted of onshore-in-office and offshore drilling platforms in the Gulf of Mexico
The project mission: Virtualization of paper based reports in the oil and gas industry. Commonly known as IADC reports, these paper based reports are the industry standard in the oil and gas exploration processes which are standardized by the International Association of Drilling Contractors. These forms allow for standardized delivery of information from drilling contractors to exploration and production companies. The information also allows for billing information to be processed from the drilling contractor to the exploration and production companies.
Chiles Offshore utilized the IADC Reports to gain a strategic advantage in its offshore operations. Utilizing the reports, normally done on 16 inch by 20 inch sheets of paper and shipped into the head office, allowed for quicker billing of drilling operations and real-time oversight of drilling performance.
Chiles Offshore's financial gains more than paid of for the implementation of the reporting system with the recover of lost interest income recovered. Because operational billing was no longer hampered by seven to fourteen day report deliver times. Between $1 million to $2 million in interest income was at stake every week of operations.
Chiles Offshore also improved customer relations by allowing the exploration and production companies to view the same data pertaining to their investment.

Not very many brewers can say they are the King of Beers®, but this is the cornerstone of Budweiser and Anheuser Busch.
As a distributor, Del Papa is responsible for local marketing and delivery of the Budweiser message to consumers in its distribution region.
Through Robert Shields and Associates, Webtoaster was tasked with the redevelopment of Del Papa's web presence. The tasks were simple. First, incorporate the corporate look and feel of A-B.. Next, create tools for site changes. Finally, enhance the human resource departments tools for personnel recruiting. Again, Webtoaster is called upon to enhance the web presence of a high valued product and service; this time in the world of contempporary art.
Donna Rogers Fine Art, located in Houston's Museum District needed a solution which was dynamic and at the same time unbreakable.
Webtoaster brought to the table a solution from Adobe Systems (formerly Macromedia) which allows for the gallery's curator and staff to update thier web presence on the fly. The implementation of Contribute allowed for anyone with a word processing skillset to changes the web site without the affecting the server side code working in the behind the scenes processes. While in coorporate development, e-Power asked Webtoaster to redesign its corporate web presence before the rollout of its initial public offering (IPO).
